“Agenciamento de visibilidades e apagamentos”: entrevista com a curadora Amaranta Cesar

Professora da Universidade Federal do Recôncavo da Bahia (UFRB), Amaranta Cesar idealizou em 2010 o CachoeiraDoc e compôs desde então a curadoria do evento. Pela maneira como trabalha a noção de contra-hegemonia a partir de três eixos interligados (o público, a curadoria e a formulação acadêmica), o evento se firmou nos últimos anos como um dos mais importantes espaços de reflexão a respeito do cinema independente brasileiro contemporâneo e das práticas curatoriais em festivais de cinema. São marcos desse processo a “Vivência em curadoria da perspectiva das mulheres”, realizada na edição de 2016, e a chamada pública para a composição de sua equipe de programação ocorrida em 2020. Nesta entrevista, Amaranta Cesar expôs de maneira ampla seu pensamento sobre curadoria a partir da experiência à frente do CachoeiraDoc.
