A escrita imagética de Daniel Galera e a adaptação cinematográfica de Até o dia em que o cão morreu

Abstract

O presente artigo busca discutir o uso das ferramentas de linguagem nos livros de Daniel Galera e sua importância para a adaptação de diversas de suas obras para o cinema. Através de uma escrita que intenciona levar o leitor a uma imersão no universo da narrativa, o escritor vale-se de construções detalhadas de imagens e de uma descrição que engloba a percepção sensorial da personagem, a fim de que tal imersão se concretize. Além disso, o artigo pretende estudar o processo de adaptação de Até o dia em que o cão morreu para o filme Cão sem dono, de Beto Brant, com o objetivo de mostrar como o diretor conseguiu transpor para a linguagem audiovisual essa escrita sensorial.
