Abstract

Este é o primeiro texto existente sobre a editora de filmes húngara, Ágnes Hranitzky (1945-), e montadora dos filmes de Béla Tarr. Discorro sobre sua carreira no cinema húngaro, com ênfase em sua parceria nos filmes dirigidos pelo cineasta Béla Tarr. Conto como ela inicia sua formação e sua prática no meio cinematográfico nos anos 60 na Hungria, explicitando as dificuldades encontradas, até chegar no findar de sua carreira em 2011. Ágnes ingressou na montagem de filmes numa época em que só havia homens nesta área e sofreu muito por isso. Ela deu importante contribuição para o cinema húngaro no Séc. XX e XXI.

Author Biography

Lidia A R S Mello, Pós-doutoranda em Estudos Artísticos/Fílmicos na FLUC, Universidade de Coimbra.

Pós-doutoranda em Estudos Artísticos/Fílmicos na FLUC, Universidade de Coimbra, com pesquisa sobre cinema político brasileiro dirigido por mulheres. Doutora em Artes/Cinema na Escola de Belas Artes da UFMG, com pesquisa sobre o cinema do cineasta húngaro Béla Tarr.

Atua no campo do cinema político, cinema húngaro, cinema contemporâneo brasileiro e o cinema em relação com outras artes.

Ao longo dos últimos 15 anos tem trabalhado em diferentes funções: pesquisadora, professora, parecerista de filmes e artigos, palestrante,  curadora e juri de filmes em festivais de cinema, realizadora audiovisual, tradução e legendagem de filmes, consultoria de projetos audiovisuais e políticas públicas de cinema. E atualmente é Curadora e Programadora do Cineclube CBL-Casa do Brasil de Lisboa.
