Cristina Venegas

Cristina Venegas is Associate Professor of the University of California Santa Barbara ́s Department of Film and Media Studies where she teaches about history, criticism and theory with an emphasis on Latin American and Latino film and media. She is the author of Digital Dilemmas: The State, the Individual and Digital Culture in Cuba (2010), as well as many essays dealing with topics such as revolutionary culture, Cuban cinema, and regional media industries published in major anthologies and journals.
