Abstract

A recepção da obra fílmica de Jean-Luc Godard no Brasil, pelo movimento Cinema Novo, manifestou-se de variadas formas. O caráter multiforme dessa aproximação pode ser auferida a partir de determinados integrantes cinemanovistas, dentre eles, Glauber Rocha, principal articulador do movimento. A leitura de suas impressões revela traços de uma perfomance de Godard que atraiu a atenção do movimento cinematográfico brasileiro. O objetivo dessa artigo é destrinchar os fios que essa primazia cinemanovista por Godard assumiu.
